My recent stay at Hotel Valledupar Plaza left much to be desired. While the spacious double room offered air conditioning and a pleasant garden view, the experience was marred by significant flaws. Our shower flooding into the bedroom was a persistent issue, and despite reporting it, the staff were less than collaborative in offering a resolution. The location itself feels compromised, with safety concerns overshadowing the charm of a serene getaway. With nearby Alfonso López Pumarejo Airport a mere 3 km away, it's convenient, but one might question if the hassle is worth it in a city lacking attractions. For fellow travelers, I recommend seeking alternatives with better pricing and positive reviews that fit within your travel aspirations. If only the hotel had matched the promise of comfort that its amenities hinted at, perhaps my view would be different.
